A & F Bacon Limited was started in the 1920's, based in the old Covent Garden Market, London, as a supplier of English foliage and moss to local florists.
Today, nearly 80 years on, as an established family business and foliage specialist, the company sources a vast range of cut foliage from the UK and around the world. We supply to a diverse and ever-expanding floristry trade, meeting the requirements of small florists to designers of corporate events and functions.
Although English foliage is always popular, currently there is tremendous interest in tropical leaves and seeds. Huge leaves are sought after, including alocasia, monsteria, livistonia and banana leaves.
Palm seeds in different sizes, textures and colours are popular for bowl and glass tank arrangements.
Other tropical foliages include lipstick bamboo, heliconias, shampoos, strelitzia, pandanas and mixed tropical bouquets.
We have linked up with an established English grower to exclusively supply cultivated variegated ivy trails for use in contract and wedding work. The trails are grown in cold greenhouses and have superior lasting quality. They are available in three colourways - green/white and gold/green and green and two lengths :
a) 1.20m-1.50m and wrapped in bunches of 10 stems;
b) 1.00m and wrapped in bunches of 20 stems
